Los Angeles Character Masterclass
Richard Hicks, president of the Casting Society of America, pointed out that a search for new faces had become an epidemic and put the problem down to a failure to train American actors in character work.
This two-day intensive will allow you to discover how to truly build a character through exercises and experiences gathered from working and training at the Actors Studio and all of Jeneffa's training and professional work internationally. We will work on a chosen monologue and character for this transformational weekend. Let yourself experience a truly dynamic relationship with your chosen character, by finding the truth of the character, from your truth. Through your exploration you will discover your unconditional love for the character, “...you ultimately have to love who you are playing.” Phillip Seymour Hoffman (fellow Actors Studio member). Inspire yourself with the work, for a strong 2014.
